Alleged Victims of Former UCLA Gynecologist/Oncologist James Heaps Urge UC Board of Regents to Conduct Independent and Transparent Investigation

In the wake of charges against Dr. James Heaps for sexual abuse, over 144 women have come forward, prompting demands for a comprehensive independent investigation by the UC Board of Regents.

SACRAMENTO – Star UCLA athletes team with former patients of disgraced UCLA doctor James Heaps to encourage the UC Board of Regents to conduct a thorough independent investigation of the scandal surrounding former UCLA Gynecologist/Oncologist James Heaps.

Since Dr. Heaps was charged with sexually abusing patients in June, by the University’s own admission, more than 144 women have come forward with complaints. According to published reports, complaints about Heaps go back to 2014, yet he was allowed to continue seeing patients at UCLA.
